Another Castro may be headed to Washington

Sources within City Hall have told Mayor Julián Castro has concluded a second interview with the Obama administration.

The vetting process, sources said, has been ongoing and those same sources told  Castro may be considered for a cabinet post.

Calls to the mayor’s office went unanswered, as well as text messages.

It’s as if word got out and everyone tied to the mayor has gone underground.

The rumor mill has also gone AWOL.

The last interview the mayor underwent was reportedly today.

To no one’s surprise what is happening was not a matter of if, but rather when. If you recall the mayor has been a frequent guest at the White House an untold number of times at the request of the president.

It appears that Castro’s star took off following his speech at the Democratic National Convention.
